The original film&#8217;s screenwriters, Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, are also returning to pen this new installment. <\/p>\n<p>In the original, a bride (Weaving) spends her first married evening with her husband&#8217;s family when an after-dinner game goes very wrong. Made for an economical $6 million, the first <strong>Ready Or Not<\/strong> pulled in $56.7 million at the box office and earned a bigger audience through home video. <\/p>\n<p>The first <strong>Ready Or Not<\/strong> seemed to end on a particular note of finality &#8211; no spoilers here &#8211; so it should be interesting to see how they pick up the story of Weaving&#8217;s character.
