[The] script examines what happens when her memory is placed into a much younger woman\u2019s body,\u201d according to a report in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20110204152909\/http:\/\/www.variety.com:80\/article\/VR1117971330?refCatId=13\">Variety<\/a><\/em> today.<\/p>\n<p>Lisberger\u2019s <strong>TRON<\/strong> saw its hero, played by Jeff Bridges, sucked into a computer mainframe and forced to compete in a series of deadly video games. The movie was the first film to extensively used computer generated special effects as well as being the first film to explore the concept of cyberspace and virtual reality.<\/p>\n<p>After <strong>TRON<\/strong>, Lisberger worked on the disappointing John Cusack comedy <strong>Hot Pursuit<\/strong> (1987) and the even worse science-fiction film <strong>Slipstream<\/strong> (1989).
