This is one of those stories.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Frances-McDormand.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-7607\" title=\"Frances McDormand\" src=\"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/Frances-McDormand-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Two-time Academy Award nominee John Malkovich and three-time Academy Award nominee and one-time Oscar winner Frances McDormand have been hired to appear in Michael Bay&#8217;s giant robots fighting and exploding sequel <strong>Transformers 3<\/strong>. According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deadline.com\/2010\/03\/malkovich-mcdormand-join-transformers-3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Deadline<\/a>, Malkovich will be playing franchise star Shia LaBeouf&#8217;s character&#8217;s first boss while McDormand will be playing the National Intelligence Director.<\/p>\n<p>So is Bay aiming for a higher caliber film, with quality actors and a quality script? This is a <strong>Transformers<\/strong> film, so I&#8217;m not holding my breath.
