{"id":7886,"date":"2010-04-19T06:00:26","date_gmt":"2010-04-19T11:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/?p=7886"},"modified":"2010-04-18T21:44:39","modified_gmt":"2010-04-19T02:44:39","slug":"rutger-hauer-is-a-hobo-with-a-shotgun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.filmbuffonline.com\/FBOLNewsreel\/wordpress\/2010\/04\/19\/rutger-hauer-is-a-hobo-with-a-shotgun\/","title":{"rendered":"Rutger Hauer Is A HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It looks like the upcoming <strong>Machete<\/strong> isn&#8217;t the only fake trailer connected to Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez&#8217;s 2006 film <strong>Grindhouse<\/strong> that is getting expanded to feature film length. <strong>Hobo With A Shotgun<\/strong>, the winner of a competition that was part of the promotion for <strong>Grindhouse<\/strong>, is being turned into a full-length movie with Rutger Hauer in the title role.<\/p>\n<p>The film begins shooting today in Nova Scotia with the trailer&#8217;s director Jason Eisner behind the camera. There&#8217;s no other real info on the film other than the trailer&#8217;s original hobo, Dave Brunt, will appear in the film as one of the dirty cops who find themselves at the wrong end of the titular shotgun.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re like me and enjoyed <strong>Grindhouse<\/strong>, this is pretty exciting. Even though Eisner&#8217;s prizewinning entry only appeared on prints of <strong>Grindhouse<\/strong> in Canada, it did get a lot of attention on line. And who knows?
