For example, while Con attendees were sitting in a hot, stuffy and\u00a0cramped presentation room listening to director Robert Rodriguez discuss how he will be producing a new film version of Robert E. Howard&#8217;s classic swordswoman character Red Sonja, I was sitting in air-conditioned comfort looking at the teaser poster for the movie that <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130625050836\/http:\/\/splashpage.mtv.com\/2008\/07\/24\/exclusive-first-look-red-sonja-poster\/\" target=\"_blank\">MTV<\/a> had just posted.<\/p>\n<p>The film will star Rose McGowan in the title role and be directed by Douglas Aarniokoski.<\/p>\n<p>If the poster is any indication, it looks as if the film might have a stylized muted pallet similar to Rodriguez&#8217;s <strong>SIn City<\/strong>.
