\"\"<\/a>1. Inception (Warner Brothers, 3,792 Theaters, 148 Minutes, Rated Pg-13): <\/strong>I am continually amazed by the path Christopher Nolan’s career has taken him. His debut, Memento<\/strong>, was an incredibly complex thriller but seems adorably quaint considering the films he does now.<\/p>\n

His career is proof that you do not need to dumb down films to reach an audience. It’s also proof that you don’t need to have your films be 90 minutes long to be a success at the box office. He is one of my favorite directors, and so far he has yet to disappoint me.<\/p>\n

This film might just be the most ambitious summer film ever made. It deals with a firm that can enter a person’s dreams. They use the technology to steal vital information for their clients. But they now have a job where they must implant an idea into a subject. This will prove to be their biggest challenge, one they might not survive.<\/p>\n

The subject matter is way more cerebral than you’d expect from a summer blockbuster. I, for one, can’t wait to see what Nolan does with it.<\/p>\n
