Ryan Reynolds stars as a private contractor in Iraq who is kidnapped and buried alive in a coffin with only a lighter, a cell phone and a 90 minute supply of air, presumably if he doesn&#8217;t use the lighter too much. Reynolds is the only actor we see on screen and we reportedly never leave the cramped confines of the coffin.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a great concept, but will it work on screen? It screened at Sundance last January, earning positive critical and audience reaction. Which makes it a little frustrating that this first full length trailer from Lionsgate doesn&#8217;t actually feature any footage from the film. While I do like that the trailer evokes some of the credit sequences Saul Bass did for Alfred Hitchcock&#8217;s films, I am anxious to see how director Rodrigo Cortes handles the restriction of the film&#8217;s without it turning into just a directorial exercise.<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"520\" height=\"354\" codebase=\"http:\/\/download.macromedia.com\/pub\/shockwave\/cabs\/flash\/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0\"><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\" \/><param name=\"wmode\" value=\"transparent\" \/><param name=\"allowfullscreen\" value=\"true\" \/><param name=\"src\" value=\"http:\/\/www.traileraddict.com\/emd\/24799\" \/><embed type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"520\" height=\"354\" src=\"http:\/\/www.traileraddict.com\/emd\/24799\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" wmode=\"transparent\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\"\/><\/object><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\">Of all the movies coming to us over the next several months, Buried sounds like one of the riskiest.
