Variety is reporting that Hostel director Eli Roth is in talks to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s latest project, Inglorious Bastards.
Roth would play Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, a baseball bat-wielding Nazi hunter.
Roth played a small part in Death Proof, Tarantino’s contribution to last year’s Grindhouse anthology.
The article also states that Tarantino has changed his mind regarding casting Leonardo DiCaprio as Hans Landa, preferring to go with a German actor instead.
