Twenty years ago, during Super Bowl 30, the first trailer for the movie Independence Day was unveiled, and the talk around the watercooler on Monday was the power of the image of the White House exploding at the end. Later this summer, we are getting a sequel to that apocalyptic alien invasion film, so where better to debut a new ad for the film than during Super Bowl 50?
