Woody Allen’s next film, Cafe Society, has been chosen to open this year’s Cannes Film Festival. And as usual, we generally don’t know much about his films until it is close to their release. And for Cafe Society, well, if you enjoyed the Coen Brothers taking a looking at the Golden Age of Hollywood, you may also find the setting of Allen’s latest to your liking. Jesse Eisenberg stars as a young man journeying through Tinseltown, encountering members of the various social strata and probably reacting in a most Woody Allen-esque way.
