Arrowverse Adds Jonah Hex To CRISIS Crossover

As a celebration of the breadth of titles DC Comics had produced over the decades, the original Crisis On Infinite Earths miniseries featured not just present day superheroes but characters from across the historical eras that they set stories in. And it looks as if the CW’s Arrowverse will be doing the same thing, as EW is reporting that the Wild West character Jonah Hex will be participating in their big crossover event this winter adapting the classic comic book story.

Johnathon Schaech will be returning to reprise his role as the western frontier bounty hunter that he first assayed in a handful of appearances on the time-traveling DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow series.

There is no word yet as to how much of a part he will play in the five-hour long event, but it does show that the CW is willing to let the producers of the shows pull from deep off the roster of characters that have previously appeared on Arrow, The Flash, Legends Of Tomorrow and Supergirl for Crisis.

In addition to the casts for those regular series, plus the upcoming freshman show Batwoman, longtime animated Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy and Black Lightening‘s Cress Williams will be appearing.
