First Trailer: JOHN CARTER

I’ll have to admit that I was a bit leery when I heard that Andrew Stanton was going to direct a live action version of Edgar Rice Burrough’s pulp hero John Carter of Mars, a Civil War hero is transported to Mars where he finds a adventure among the planet’s inhabitants. But the first trailer for the film, which will show up in theaters tomorrow in front of the Harry Potter finale, has me convinced that we just might be in for a great epic film. The film stars Taylor Kitsch, Willem Dafoe and Lynn Collins and will be hitting theaters next March.
