Be it coincidence or homage or the outright hope that they don’t get caught aping someone else’s movie, filmmakers have been replicating the work of those who have gone before them for some time now. Every now and then we like to stop and point out one of those instances.
Sex sells. And sometimes there is nothing more sexy than a self-bitten pair of lips. And if there’s a level of sensuality in your film you want to sell, than that’s an image you may wish to consider as part of your advertising campaign. It’s just that you may want to make sure that no one had the exact same idea as you.
