Antoine Fuqua’s big screen adaptation of the 1980s television series The Equalizer has added another cast member in the form of Justified star David Meunier. He’ll be appearing opposite Denzel Washington, who will be playing the titular former covert agent who now helps people in need. Melissa Leo is also in the cast.
Meunir will be playing Slavi, a sleazy Russian pimp (Is there any other kind?) who runs 15-year-old prostitute Teri, to be played by Chloe Moretz.
The $50 million film is set to start production soon for its scheduled April 11, 2014 release date.
