Marvel’s superhero films are known for a number of things, not the least of which are the scenes that appear after the end credits have rolled. From the very first one in the original Iron Man film which pointed towards the larger cross-franchise plans that the studio would be attempting these scenes have routinely either teased upcoming films or more recently added a comic sting at the end of the film.
The folks over at ScreenCrush got word as to what we can expect from a post credit scene for next month’s Thor: The Dark World and it turns out that, just like with The Avengers, we’ll be getting two post-credit scenes –
“Mid – Forshadowing [sic]. End – Shreddies.”
Not very informative, though I would hazard a guess that given the fact that Thor: The Dark World features a portion of its action off world that the scene that will be foreshadowing will probably be related to either next year’s Guardians Of The Galaxy film or something that will slowly further the plot thread about the intergalactic tyrant Thanos that was left dangling at the end of The Avengers. Perhaps we’ll see something further with the Infinity Gauntlet, a powerful artifact from the Marvel Comics universe that was briefly glimpsed in the first Thor film and has a long history connected with Thanos.
As to “shreddies,” well that is the name of a British breakfast cereal similar to Shredded Wheat here in the US. I’m going to assume that that one is a bit more comedic, in the vein of Avengers “shwarma” tag scene.
Thor: The Dark World opens November 8.
THOR: THE DARK WORLD Will Feature Two Post-Credit Scenes (Mild Spoilers) http://t.co/D2WtVuNCIN
Well, the trailers do make it appear that some of the Earth scenes are set in England, so maybe the post credit scene is Thor going for breakfast with Jane Foster?

Supposedly, Del Toro let it out if the bag that he shot a scene with the Thor cast. Bet that plays into the bonus scene.
IT’S NOW THE LAW!!!!!
