Last fall, Saturday Night Live scored big laughs with a filmed trailer parody for a horror film directed by Wes Anderson called The Midnight Coterie Of Sinister Intruders. This weekend, they premiered a follow-up parody trailer, this time a riff of Spike Jonze’s recent quirky romantic hit Her. This time, SNL has placed this week’s guest host Jonah Hill into Joaquin Phoenix’s role of a man who falls for his computer’s operating system, though with a comedic twist. While perhaps not quite as funny as their previous trailer parody, it does do a reasonable job in capturing Jonze’s visual look for his film. And wait until you see the cameo at the end.
