An Interesting Rumor About Adam Driver’s STAR WARS: EPISODE 7 Role

AdamDriver

Back when Adam Driver’s possible involvement with Star Wars: Episode VII first began to be rumored, the idea that he was going to be playing a villain, perhaps the main bad guy, of the new trilogy. Jedi News has a new report that doesn’t necessarily dispel that idea entirely but fleshes it out a bit.

According to the site’s anonymous source –

Sounds like Adam Driver is NOT going to play a villain…sort of.

He will be playing the son of Han and Leia, and it seems he will be seduced to the Dark Side, and a main plot point for the movie will be their attempt to rescue him.

Jedi News is hedging their bets on this one, emphasizing that people should treat this as a rumor. Truth or rumor, though, it would make for an interesting storyline and one supported by the rumor that Han (Harrison Ford) was going to play a larger role in the first film of the new trilogy. And given that Luke Skywalker faced a similar temptation in Return Of The Jedi, I am sure that he would have some things to contribute as well.

Expect more rumors as production roles on over the summer and into the fall.
