Academy Award-nominated screenwriter Steven Knight has been picked by Paramount to script their sequel to last summer’s zombie epic World War Z. The Impossible‘s J.A. Bayona is set to direct the follow and star Brad Pitt will be returning for a second go-round with the shambling undead that have been taking over the world.

Paramount has not yet scheduled a release date for the film.

This will mark the second team-up between Pitt and Knight. Pitt is in talks to star in a Knight-scripted, untitled World War II romantic thriller.

Knight earned an Oscar nomination in 2004 for Dirty Pretty Things. He has also written Eastern Promises and most recently both wrote and directed the Thomas Hardy film Locke.
