What better way to celebrate May the 4th than with a load of new images from Star Wars: The Force Awakens? They all come courtesy of Vanity Fair and the magazine’s upcoming cover story on the upcoming film. Vanity Fair sent legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz to the film’s various shooting locations where she captured a number of photos of Star Wars actors – both veteran and new. If you’re spoiler adverse, you might want to click away now. If not, know then that these photos does pretty much confirm the open secret that Adam Driver is playing Kylo Ren, the wielder of that laser-pronged lightsaber we’ve seen in the trailers. We also learn that Lupita Nyong’o’s character of Maz Kanata is going to be created through motion capture. In additino tothe cover ad the photos, Vanityfa ir has also released a short promo video hearlding Leibovitz’s involvement.
