Our First Look At WONDER WOMAN Footage

The debut of the first official Suicide Squad trailer was not the only new look at their DC Comics Cinematic Universe that Warners had in store for us on this evening’s DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW. They have also our first look at footage of the still in production Wonder Woman.

There’s not too much to see but what we do get is tantalizing. As the film is only in the middle of its shooting schedule, there has been very minimal work done on the footage so far, probably just some color correction to make it look presentable. So don’t be expecting anything big in terms of special effects work. But, we do get to see just a bit of star Gal Gadot in action as Princess Diana. We also get a brief glimpse of Diana trying on some glasses that will serve as part of her secret identity disguise. Ironically, it is a trope more commonly connected to Superman, but it was a scene which we did not get in the last Superman movie, Man Of Steel.

Wonder Woman is scheduled to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
