Amanda Seyfrien has signed onto director Andrew Niccols’s science-fiction thriller Anon.
Seyfried will be starring opposite Clive Owen who will be playing a detective in the near future who discovers a mysterious woman (Seyfried) who, in a word lacking in privacy and anonymity, leaves no digital footprint in the highly computerized world. Nichols is also the screenwriter on the film. The film is set to shoot this summer.
Nichol and Seyfried previously teamed for the futuristic immortality thriller In Time. While I didn’t think that film manage to fulfill its potential, any new project from Nichols always gets my interest, simply based on the strength of his film Gattaca.
