Marvel has just released a new teaser trailer for next summer’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 which features the core group of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista) and Rocket (Bradley Cooper) as well as more action, more wise-cracking and perhaps most importantly for some fans, more Baby Groot. The two minute clip also features our first glimpse of Pom Klementieff as the alien Mantis. Also a big vicious monster that we see many of the gang taking terms stabbing. Director James Gunn also continues his use of 1970s rock tunes in the franchise with this trailer being scored with Sweet’s “Fox On The Run.” The film also stars Kurt Russell, Karen Gillian, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Rooker, and Glenn Close.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 kicks off next summer’s movie season on May 5, 2017.
