It’s just not a Star Wars film without Warwick Davis it seems. And now Lucasfilm’s untitled Han Solo spin off film now feels like a Star Wars film as director Ron Howard revealed that Davis has joined the cast of the film.
As is becoming a habit for him, Howard made the revelation via his twitter account this afternoon in response to a fan asking if the director had ever thought about making a sequel to the fantasy Willow, on which Howard and Davis first collaborated.
Glad you are asking for one! I directed @WarwickADavis for the 1st time in 30 years today. It made me happy https://t.co/yW8E19MPCn

Davis got his start as an actor in the third installment of the original Star Wars trilogy Return Of The Jedi. Since then, he has appeared in the first installment of the prequel trilogy, The Phantom Menace as well as the recent The Force Awakens and Rogue One. He has also filmed a part for this winter’s The Last Jedi. Outside of the Star Wars franchise, Davis has appeared in the Leprechaun horror franchise, the Harry Potter franchise and the 2005 adaptation The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy among other films.
