Paul Feig Enlists Emilia Clarke And Henry Golding For LAST CHRISTMAS

Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding will be headlining director Paul Feig’s next project Last Christmas.

The screenplay is by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings. Outside of the fact that it is a romance set in London during the holidays, the plot of the film is being held tightly under wraps. My guess, though, is we will hear a certain song by 1980s British pop group Wham! at some point.

The project sees Golding reuniting with Feig, who directed him in the just released A Simple Favor.

Universal is distributing the film. Although there is no release date announced, I would expect it in the last quarter of 2019 to coincide with the Christmas season.
