While the Holiday 2007 movie seasn hasn’t even started, we are already being inundated with advertising for Summer 2008’s crop of films. Hollywood calls this building awareness or anticipation, and I have to admit, it usually works. Granted, building too much expectation for a film can only lead to those expectations not being met. (Yes, Snakes On A Plane, I’m looking at you.) One film, that seems to be building a slow boil of anticipation until next summer is the comic book adaptation Iron Man, with Robert Downey, Jr. as a weapons manufacturer who builds a high-tech suit of armor. We’ve already seen a trailer for the film that promises some thrills and now they’ve released a teaser poster.
