Pitt Officially An INGLORIOUS BASTARD

And the casting news for Quentin Tarantino’s World War II epic Inglorious Bastards keeps on coming. We told you last month that Brad Pitt was in talks to take the role of Lt. Aldo Raine, the commander of the group of Allied soldiers trapped behind Nazi lines.

Variety has confirmed late this afternoon that Pitt’s deal to appear in the film has been finalized.

Production on the film is scheduled to begin in Germany on October 13, so I guess we can expect a flurry of activity on this one between now and then.
