That Flash Gordon project over at Sony we first told you about back in May now has some screenwriters attached to it.
Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless have been signed by the studio to write the screenplay for director Breck Eisner. The pair are already working on Dracula: Year Zero for Universal and Cobalt 60 for director Zack Snyder. Besides developing Flash Gordon, Eisner is also working on remakes of The Creature From The Black Lagoon (which has been in develpment with various directors attached at Universal for about a decade now) and George Romero’s 1973 cult horror film The Crazies.
