I think I’ve figured out Warner Brothers’ strategy. In case they wind up loosing their legal tussell with 20th Century Fox over their graphic novel adaptation Watchmen, they are sneakily releasing the film in little bits and pieces in various trailers and promotional videos turning up around the internet.
The latest pieces of this feature length puzzle come in the form of this Japanese trailer for the film which features a good amount of new footage that helps establish the alternate history of the film’s world for the uninitiated. Enjoy. We still don’t know if we’ll be enjoying Watchmen in movie theaters on March 6.
