I’m starting to think that Quentin Tarantino is trying to make at least one film in every film genre there is. He’s already worked his way through crime dramas, martial arts, blaxploitation and exploitation. Now, with his latest film Inglorious Basterds, Tarantino turns his attention to the war film. It’s a film the director has been talking about making for years, and it looks like he has finally gotten around to it. While those of us who won’t be at the Cannes Film Festival for Basterds‘ world premier this May will have to wait until August 21, we at least have this first trailer to give us a sample of what Tarantino’s “Men on a mission” picture is all about.
