JURASSIC PARK Trilogy Officially Announced For Blu-Ray

Hot on Steven Spielberg’s announcement that his classic Jaws was being readied for a blu-ray release, comes word that the producer/director’s Jurassic Park trilogy will be released in the later this year.

The Digital Bits is reporting that Universal has confirmed that they are readying all three films – the two that Spielberg directed as well as the third film directed by Joe Johnson -for the high-def format.

No details on what the set will include in the way of extras, but we should know when the studio makes their official announcement in a few weeks once they nail down an exact release date.
