Peter Sarsgaard In, Jason Momoa Out Of MAGNIFICENT SEVEN Remake

There’s a bit of a shakeup on the villains’ side of the roster for the upcoming remake of the classic western The Magnificent Seven.

Joining the Antoine Fuqua-directed project will be Peter Sarsgaard in the role of one of the lead villains, specifically the robber baron who attacks the small town that a band of seven gunslingers are hired to protect. Leaving the project is Jason Momoa, vacating the role of one of the bandits under the robber baron’s command.

No reason was given for Momoa’s departure.

Sarsgaard will be joining Chris Pratt, Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, Matt Bomer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-hun Lee, Wagner Moura and Haley Bennet.
