More DOCTOR STRANGE Set Pics, First Look At Chiwetel Ejiofor

Some more pictures of the Nepalese location shooting for Marvel Studio’s Doctor Strange have surfaced, this time courtesy of the local Kathmandu Post. Sure, they are partly more looks at star Benedict Cumberbatch in his beard and slightly tatty clothes as he searches the world for a reversal of the accident which left his hands unable to perform the delicate medical operation on which he built his career. But they also include our first look at Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, the sorcerer who will become Strange’s rival as he begins learning the ways of the mystic arts.

At the rate that these photos are appearing, I dare say that Marvel is feeling the pressure to release an official picture from the film sometime soon. They do like to control the narrative of the publicity around their films, so I can’t imagine that they are content to just let paparazzi set pics be the only thing out there.
