Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige took to the stage at San Diego Comic Con’s Hall H to announce that the studio’s current phase of its Cinematic Universe’s interconnected movies and television series will draw to a conclusion with the release of November’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and that the next phase of projects, Phase Five will launch in February 2023 with Ant-Man And the Wasp: Quantumania and ending with Thunderbolts hitting theaters on July 26, 2024

Feige stated that the new umbrella title for the films of Phase 4, 5 and 6 will be “The Multiverse Saga.”

While outlining the films and series of Phase 5, Feige named and gave firm release dates to some titles that fans were already known to be in production, while confirming other titles rumored to be in development at the studio. This phase will span 11 films and TV shows over its two years.

Although Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil has already been confirmed to return in next summer’s Echo series on Disney+, this announcement is the first news that the character, whom Cox already portrayed for three seasons on Netflix, will once again be headlining his own show, Daredevil: Born Again. While it was confirmed that Vincent D’Onofrio as would be reprising his role as Daredevil’s nemesis Kingpin, there was no word as to whether any of the other cast from the Netflix series will be returning. The series is slated for an unprecedented 18 episode run.

Although no trailer was released for November’s upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Feige did bring onto the stage Tenoch Huerta, announcing that the actor will be portraying Namor, the Submariner in the film, confirming longstanding rumors of the character’s inclusion.

The breakdown for Phase 5 is as follows –
