Anne Hathaway will be joining Rebel Wilson for an upcoming remake of the 1988 comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
The Hollywood Reporter is stating that Hathaway is in talks to co-star in Nasty Women, a remake of the Frank Oz-directed film that starred Steve Martin and Michael Caine as two con men on the French Riviera trying to bilk a pretty, young heiress. That film was a remake of the 1964 Marlon Brando-David Niven film Bedtime Story. This new version will see Hathaway and Wilson teaming up to con a tech genius out of his money.
Hathway is currently filming Ocean’s Eight, a gender-swapped spin-off of the George Clooney-starring Ocean’s Eleven trilogy of heist films.
